The Willingly Ignorant

Evolution, or evil-lution, as pronounced by those that live in the land of “history”, you know, Europe.  There is no need to get into the ongoing argument that is raging among the Christians and the “scientist” about the creation.  To study the books on the subject, pro and con, can be informative as well as fun, but to debate the issue is a waste of time.  “Professing themselves to be wise”, does that sound familiar?  The Evolutionist takes the creation and makes it god, his or her god by claiming the thing created is from nothing and is therefore the beginning of all life.  Hum, yeah, that is about it.

Waste of Time

A Christian would do better in prayer than in debates with other Christians on the subject of evil-ution.  It would be far more beneficial for the individual to be reading their own bible as opposed to arguing with your neighbor, or a relative, about the existence of a “Living God” that created everything.  It is a waste of time trying to convince anyone who chooses to be willingly ignorant -- about a Creator God.  There are reasons for the evilness of not believing the Creator and those reasons are found in the above quoted verses.

The stiff necked, hard headed evil-lutionist  is faced with the over whelming evidence of the existence of a Creator God and deny what is plain to see.  Some Christians have tried to make room for them by being accommodating, even to point of contradicting the book they say they believe is the written word of the Creator.  Notice in the verses above that those spoken of, verse 19, they know the truth but refuse to see it.

The bottom line is that a mind set against the “Book” is set against the “Book”, and all the arguments you can come up with are futile, their “hearts are darkened”.  Let the Living God take care of them.  If he chooses to open certain individual minds then be ready to answer the questions of salvation.  At this point in a persons life the argument of the “chicken and the egg” are of little concern as the question is answered in truth and the innocents of a child believing their Father.  Why?  Simple, when the mind is opened and the quest begins to know more the answer to the beginning of life is answered.  When this happens it is difficult for the one “called”, with that opening of the intellect to the Creator, to see anything in existence out side of the Creator, and to throw the Messiah into this mix as the answer to life forever is astounding.  You no longer need proof you know the answer.  This is where some step in and expound upon the reality of “faith”.  Faith, in its purest form, believing what the Creator has given us in the way of explaining our origins and where we are heading.  Of course to those outside of this mind bending experience this all means nothing.  As a child with this new awareness you need to begin again and the place to start is the Book, the Book we know as the Holy Bible.  You need to prepare yourself to have the answers for those that are seeking, and for those that are being called to the hope that is found in you, the new you.  Remembering always that there are those that know the truth but refuse it.  

2 Timothy 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1 Peter 3:15  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: KJV

Don’t be willingly ignorant when it comes to the “Book”.  First seek the things in the Word and make yourself ready to answer the hope found in your life.  It is a wonderful thing when the Spirit of the Living God comes to you in the study of His Word and then uses you to answer the questions of the new “called ones”.

Someone once told me that they had always been a poor reader and they were happy where they were.  Meaning they had found their place of comfort and any further study, or reading, was difficult.  They had even convinced themselves that that is what the Lord wanted, that all they need to know was that He loved them and they would share that with others.  Sadly, I’m afraid, that is the attitude of many that call themselves believers.  Some make the mistake of thinking that they are not smart enough so they let someone else do “their” bible study for them.  This is how well meaning people can be led off into a type of captivity and allegiance to another “Messiah”, a false Messiah even.  Make no mistake, not everyone that can recall verse, line and chapter know what they are talking about concerning the Book they seem to know so well.  I know of an individual that has the gift of total recall and can recite the King James Version bible line by line but he has some of the strangest ideas about the things biblical.  His concept of who and what the devil is, leans toward the bazaar as is his concept of what heaven and hell are.  Oddly enough, his teachings on these subjects are found only in his fertile imagination.  

You do not need to be clever, or more intelligent, or have a degree in order to study the Word, or to read the Bible and make sense of it.  There is, however, a type of study that is counter productive in its results and you should be aware of it.  The Jews are a good example for us in this type of study and in a type of religious attitude that can turn things our mini gods.  With every good intention the Israelites (Jews) of the first century and before, had made the Temple into a Holy Shrine.  Their worship of the Temple and at the Temple came before the real meaning, the Words of the Living God.  They studied the Words of the Living God thinking they had “salvation” in them, but what did the Messiah say about this kind of study?  Please read:

John 5:39 You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life.  These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life” NIV

Without the Messiah there is no salvation.  The written Word means nothing without the true meaning expressed by the words.  The Messiah is the Word, and He is the Creator, and without Him there is nothing for us.  If your reading is to be fruitful the Messiah must be included.  One of the keys to understanding what the written word is saying to us has to do with the true identity of the Messiah, the separating of  Him from that other messiah that is being taught today.

Homophobic?

Gays, that would be “homosexuals”, male and female, are pathetic individuals exchanging the natural use of their bodies for the unnatural.  They are especially “willingly ignorant” people, haughty in their attitude, ignorant to the soles of their feet.

 It does not take a genius to understand what is wrong with “homosexuals”.  Carried away by their own lusts they deny nature and the creation – in this they deny the Creator God.  There does not need to be a big discussion on “homosexuals” and their activities.  They want something that cannot be granted – normalcy.  They want the heterosexual population to say that they are the same, no different.  The animals of the forest, if they could talk, would not admit to such a depraved idea, they, the animals, would laugh at this human arrogance steeped in ignorance. 

Romans 1:24-27 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. KJV

Homosexuals are committing a sin not only against themselves but also against nature and against the Creator.  Remember, we are not talking about individual rights but sexual rights. They want the unnatural to be accepted as natural, as something good, as normal, claiming it to be on the same level as individual rights “under the law”.  By turning the laws governing individual rights upside down they attempt to turn the laws of nature upside down, and for what?  For their own desire and their own lust, not for the good of all people but in spite of it.  Homosexuals are nothing new they have been around a long time.  They are a self-centered, self-serving group of sexual deviates that have become so brazen as to parade around flaunting their sexual preference at every opportunity.  Their successful actions in their campaign have garnered sympathy from some and applause from others. Their public actions encourage other defiant, sexual predators to claim they too are normal and should be allowed to have sex with whomever, or whatever they want. 

They are a despicable collection of humanity that are inwardly miserable as they seek the worship of the strange, filled with unnatural lust one for another.

Is this my judgment?  Hardly, it might be if I were of the mind set of the world, but it is not and it is no laughing matter as we have already read from the first chapter of Romans.  This "judgement" is from the Creator of mankind, I am merely parroting what He has already revealed.  Not by my words, but His, read it for yourself.  But look what has become of may professing Christians in the attitude of tolerance and self-forgiving, like self-righteousness, they pratice a kind of worldly morality suggesting Gay, Sodomites, Homosexuals are some how normal, created that way.  When I hear Christians (so called) spewing this kind of dribble I know they are not following the God of my Bible, the God I worship, Yahshua. 

The message is not only for those that would deny God and the existence of God but for those that know of him, that have known Him but have decided that His Word does not really mean what they say.  A good example of this can be found in the disagreement about the “world wide flood”.   The Word says it happened, and the Messiah stands behind it, as do the Apostles, yet some declared Christians think the “flood” account is metaphorical or myth at best.  Did the Messiah believe a “flood” occurred?  Listen to what He has to say.

 Matthew 24:38  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe (Noah) entered into the ark,

Matthew 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. KJV

What do you think?  Did the Messiah talk about the flood as though it really happened?  What about the Apostles?

2 Peter 2:5  And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly KJV

You will not find a teaching anywhere in Scripture that teach the “flood story” as a myth, but rather, as an historical fact.  If you cannot stand up against those that would have you believe the Word to be in error, or if you find yourself apologizing for the Word then you need to begin again, you need to question your faith.  For the Word, and the inspired words of the Living God are true. 

Romans 3:3  What if some did not have faith?  Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness?  Not at all!  Let God be true, and every man a liar.  As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.” NIV

Make a special note of the last part of this verse.  By your believing the Word you can have confidence that you, no not you, but the Word is correct and that the “judgments” you make will prevail.  His Words are true and faith comes into play when you believe His Words even when others with more education than you or me say otherwise.   Stand on His Words, He is the Rock of our Salvation and there is not other but Yahshua and He declares the Father to us.  Praise YaH.
