Religion, God, Gods and other Conundrums

Did you know that Satan is called a god?  Did you know that the bible tells us that there are many "gods" and many "lords"?  But then, you don't need the bible to tell you that, do you?  It is interesting, though, how the term "god" is used as a name on one hand but can refer to many other "gods", or "lords", with and by different names.  When you say, "god" what do you mean?  Are you speaking of a particular god, or lord?  Is so, what is that gods name.  Many in religions considered by Christians to be pagan, or cult, have names for their "Deity, or "gods".  So many gods, so many lords, so much confusion.  Did you know the Bible says the God of the bible is not the author of "confusion"?  Religion, what a mess.   

Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Jerusalem where is your peace?  The name of this city is supposed to mean "Peace".  The meaning of this cities name is "YHWH's Peace", or "YH's Peace".  This city is anything but peaceful.  By its name we can see, however, that it is destined to be a "city of peace", that is to be the future of this city, but we see that is not the case today.  The name given this city proclaims its prophetic future.  Why isn't it a city of "peace" today?  Because of religion.

Religion, religion, religion, what a mess! Everyone looking for God in all the wrong places, or are they, perhaps they, those that seek religion, have found what they are looking for -- comfort, peace of mind, excitement, the adrenalin rush of possession, or just plain craziness -- even entertainment.  Is religion as we see it in the world over, in its varied forms, what we need for worship?  I know a lot of questions, but the propose is to get you to start thinking of the answers for yourself.  Searching, searching for the right path, that narrow path, for "broad is the way that leads to destruction", and this should suggest to you the majority, even in a democracy, concerning this point, is on the broad path.  If the path is narrow then we will not see the majority on that path.  Those that find that narrow path will be few, indeed, as opposed to the population of the world, especially when we enter the "end times", or "end days".  If we are in those days now, as many teach, then truly those called are few in number.  Still the seeking goes on -- looking for that answer but rejecting the answer at the same time.

LOST SOULS

Lost souls looking for a place in this universe. Certainly there are those that believe in nothing. The believers in "nothing", some call atheist, find comfort in not having to figure out a particular formula for entering into an "afterlife". Their intellectual superiority over the stupidity of the ignorant believers in a "god", gives them an equal belief in "nothing", or "nothingness".  This type of mind, the intellectual mind of the world, also explains why many of higher educations fall prey to Eastern religions.  The bottom line is this:  The very basic teachings of the Eastern religions applied to the supposed superior mind of the Western educated brain leads to absolutely "nothing", hence, the followers of the pagan Eastern religions are not much different from the declared atheist -  they both reach for, proclaim, and end up with the wonderful, pure form of humanities future called "nothingness".  One works for it while the other, the atheist, slides into it with little or no effort.  From these two points of view spring a multitude of other types of thinking.  No one should make the mistake of thinking that to have a religion, to be a follower of a particular religion is the mark of stupidity.  The real mark of "stupidity" is the person that would make such a suggestion. Some of the most brilliant minds ever to have crossed the pages of history have, and do believe in a supreme intelligence, a “god” if you will.  Consider this – many critics of the Holy Bible, and there are many, prove its uniqueness by their incessant attacks.  If the scriptures are of little worth, if they are the mere ramblings of pagan imbeciles then why are those so offended by the Book so interested in attacking it?  Are they, perhaps, trying to save us from our own ignorance?  Many a great mind professing a lack of belief has been known to refer to the scriptures, even quoting from the same in some of their works.  The Book has power, like it or not, it is the most powerful writings known man, hate love it, appreciate it, even burn it, the Book continues.  I beg you to see that where the criticism should really lay is not with the Book but with the “religion”.  Many a false religion has been built around the Book, the very Book that will in the end judge them.  The problem with most critics is that they are judging the religion not the Book.

 Five and dime religion with all their promises of "life ever lasting" are seeking more than dimes, it is dollars and more dollars, they seek. Fleecing the seekers, preaching righteousness all the while living corrupt lives them-selves. The sins of these false shepherds inevitably come to the light of day and by their exposure the followers are seen to be ignorant dupes deserving being fleeced.  It is little wonder many of rational thought are turned away from the Book by the actions of those evil preachers.  Still, the attack by the supposed intellectual, in attitude and in print, would continue even if every preacher of the Word were as the Christ Himself.  Unbelief can and does lead to “no belief.”

With some good reasoning the intelligent mind should have risen, by now, above the mind of pagan savagery, heathen myths, and uneducated superstitions of the past, if, that is, the science of evolution (pronounced "evil-lution, in much of Europe) be true. But look around, all that, the savagery, the myths, the superstitions are all still with us. The true intellectual atheists must consider themselves ahead of the evolutionary curve. The ego of the atheist is only offset by the true realization that "in" pure atheistic thought there is absolutely nothing after this life, nothing at all.  Finding the pure "atheist" would be a difficult task.  Sure, there are many of the sciences that suggest they believe in nothing when in fact they believe in themselves and a version, or vision they have of natural sciences.  What many "disbelievers" really believe is that "religion" is a fat cow that instead of giving milk to the people is instead, milking the people.  It is the work of "religion" over the past thousands of years that has produced so many disbelievers and disillusioned in the concept of there being a supreme being.  There is one other thing man's natural mind is set against the Creator God, the one true Living God.  Of those willing to believe in a god most pick the created thing to worship as opposed to the Creator.  This is where the intellectually minded fall.  They trip over the things created and in a way worship the creation as the thing that brought us all into life.  From rocks we come and rocks we will return is the simplest way of seeing evolution.  Cutting away all of the verbiage, all of the mounds of dirt, all of the theories, getting right to the order of things, the base line is that we came from rocks.  Rocks slung around in space smashing together making planets and moons, etc, etc. They are half right for the Creator tells us that we are dirt and we will return to dirt.  These ancient, inferior minds, so called, dreamed up the creation idea and just happen to suggest that we humans are made up of dirt.  Pretty lucky guess, right?  So, which came first, early man, whose mind boarders on that of a monkey, or the modern mind of Science?   

As stated earlier, finding the pure "atheist" is a bit difficult, but they do live among us mortals. The atheistic mind, many times, is the mind of genius, free to explore outside of taboos placed on others by religious, or moral constraints. But even the genius found among their number may not realize that what they are really against is "religion" (I know, I repeat myself, but it is worth repeating).  Some have come to grips with this and do, even secretly, admit to a possible life after this one, perhaps a life evolving into something else, something apart of this universe. An "atheist" is not an enemy God, maybe an enemy of religion, but not of the Creator God, the God of the Universe. They see clearly as humans with a thinking mind. Some of the world’s greatest thinkers could be classified as "atheist". It is "religion" they cannot stand. What they cannot explain to themselves and for themselves is the great number of great men, great thinkers, even many in the sciences that follow after a religion, that do believe in a higher power, a Creator -- This the atheist cannot explain.

Religion is filled with hate and full of rage, it is deserving of suspicion. Do not close your eyes and ears to this. Religion is the enemy of all mankind. You don’t need to travel to far back into the history of men and women to see that this is true. One does not even need to go back, just look at what you see on the news. Case in point: Islam, a religion bent on world dominance. In the name of religion the followers of Islam murder thousands of innocent people. The god they follow, Allah, is a bloody god, a god of destruction, a "Destroyer God". Their god is full of hate and fills them with hate. Their god, Allah, is so hateful that he even requires the young and the beautiful of the Muslim population kill themselves for him.  Their god is so weak he cannot do these things for himself he has to incite, by the demonic writings of Mohammad, a people full of anger and rage, kicking out at everyone.  The writings of Mohammad and of other Islamic writers, give the undisciplined of the base human nature to vent anger, even murder and call it righteous judgment. 

Who would serve such a god? It should be remembered that the people of the Middle East are not ignorant, mindless peoples of inferior intellect, but rather, descendants of the great minds that introduced humanity to the science of Astronomy, and mathematics, and building techniques not paralleled since modern times. No, these are not illiterate savages following after a religion for the primitive mind. All you need do is look at the leaders and you see highly educated people. Usama Bin Laden is a good example. A highly educated man, from a family of privilege, had he been born in the United States he would most like be heading one to the top companies in the field of communications, he might have even become a motivational speaker, who knows, maybe even a serial killer. We know what he is today, a hero to many in the Middle East and a murder to many in the West. Why does he do what he does, and why do so many applaud his actions? Religion! He has found personal stability in this religion we know as Islam. He has taken the more righteous position of Islam and follows, not the just Quran (Islam’s bible), but the Nobel Quran (the expanded, amplified version). Anyone that takes the time to read the "Nobel Quran" (Koran) will easily see where he is coming from. One can also read the "Quran" and search its pages for those things preaching hate and death to the infidels, but the "Noble Quran" includes commentary that explains the total idea of revolution under Islam for world domination of the infidels. Who are the "infidels"? You and me, of course, everyone that is not of the Islam faith and any one that is of the Islam faith and then recants and goes to another religion is worthy of death. Also, anyone that claims to be of the Islamic religion but does not live by the demands of Jihad (holy war) are deemed worthy of death, too.  Once Islam, always Islam or you die and death to any outside of Islam unless they convert. This is the position of well-educated, highly trained individuals through out the Muslim world.

It is hard for most Americans to understand this kind of thinking, outside of the intellectually inferior, or savage races of men, as Americans have enjoyed an independence and freedom unparalleled in the history of men. This, of course, is gradually changing. The history that of the USA begins with men and women fleeing oppression and "religious" persecution to find and found a country of freedom and equality. That is not to say those ideals have ever been fully realized, but consider, for a moment, a country composed of fifty smaller countries (states) all pledging unity for the sake of protecting individual freedom? Imagine the magnitude of such a thing. Nowhere in the world is there such a place. Europe has attempted unity by war, by "religion" and now by political intrigue and still has not attained the kind of unity the United States of America enjoys. Make no mistake, European leaders, and more and more the population, drool with envy over the political and military power of the United States. Their envy is steadily growing into a type of hate, envy-hate. May the Living God help us if Europe ever becomes a united military power equal that of the US. The European attitude has failed unity through spurts and fits. The three attempted methods of achieving this unity, mentioned above, may one day blend into a single form -- combining political, military and religion. They fancy themselves as rich in the history of mankind’s progress, who better to rule the modern world? Eventually a page from the history of the Roman Empire will be torn from the past and projected into the modern era of Europe and its population, a combining of powers in the politics of today with the military capabilities of today with a "new" religion. Hitler almost did it and believe it or not his spirit is not totally dead.  Go into any book story and you will find plenty of books about Hitler and his united of Europe, though brief from the point of view of world history, he is dead but his spirit lives on.  Maybe one day a generation of people will wake up and wonder at a resurrected Europe, a resurrected "Hitler" Europe. 

The religion of Islam is attempting to tear down the West, meaning the USA, mostly.  They also hate the Jews in a most unreasonable way.  The only way to solve the problem of the Jew, for the Islamic Jihad would be to bomb the Jewish state of Israel off the map, even if it meant wiping out millions of Palestinians too. The extremist groups are drunk on the blood of their victims, if, one day, Islamic leaders awaken from their drunken stupor they may see Europe as the greater threat, not the benevolent Americans. They are misguided and misdirected by a force that seeks to bring a power to its knees to make way for a greater plan. The freedom the USA offers is in the way of that plan -- world dominations with the boot heal of Islam on the neck of the Jews and anyone they (their evil leaders) deem worthy of death, anyone that does not convert to Islam and declare their weak, blood thirsty, pagan god as the one true god.   

The various groups of extremist Islam label the USA as the work of the devil when in fact, from all appearances it is the Islamic extremist that seem to be doing the bidding of the devil, Satan, a name recognized by all in the Middle East. Islam believes in a devil, and angels too, but their leadership somehow never equate their actions with that of the devil, Satan, or his demonic, evil angels. This, to me, is very odd as they "do understand" and teach that the devil is active and has influence and his angels are workers of darkness, something to be feared, not followed, however, in their religious fever, their blood drunk anger, they do not see the devil at work in their own lives, in their bloody, destructive causes. They are blind to the workings of a power they acknowledge as evil and become tools of this evil power. Make no mistake, there are millions of peace loving Arabs, and Muslim's that are victims of their own religion. Many Muslim's practicing the "religion" of Islam were born into it and stay in it because they are under constant pressure, constantly propagandized, and finally by the threat of death if any recant Islam or Mohammad.

It should be remembered, especially by European Christians, that Islam has not yet attain the level of horrors practiced by the "religion" of Christian Europe. If you add up all the atrocities committed in the "name of god" by the Christian "religion", the Islamic "religion" is way behind, but they are trying to catch up and fast.

Freedom loving Muslims, those that wish to live at peace with other nations, even Israel, live in suppressed style of loyalty. They may, in private, acknowledge the error of following the "sword of Allah", but they are surrounded by the demon possessed of Allah and realize the penalty that would be exacted on them by the fanatic of that "religion".

The "plan" against the United States, referred to earlier, is not too complicated; Reduce the power of a free people, a people bent on human freedoms, reduce it to a third world status, if possible eliminate it altogether. Purpose? To get rid of the idea of individual rights and individual freedom. Why? For the sake of a united world under the direction of a power that will better understand how to use its power. Make no mistake, Europe hungers for this power as do the leaders of the Mohammad style Islamic religion.  They, the European Unity leaders, understand the need for world unity, but under their control, for they understand the needs of the "World" while the USA as a power, only understands the needs of Americans. That is the way they see it.  Who better to rule than those with the history of world dominion? The USA has only been around for about 250 years and only about 60 years as a worldwide power, something the European politicians and people have craved since the days of the historical Empire building. Yes, they have the history, the blood, and the bloodline of greatness, or so they feel. Because of the Hitler debacle desire for Empire is suppressed by the populace, but believe me, it is discussed behind closed doors within the political frame work of the European states, I mean, countries.

The plan: Get rid, or reduce the USA to an obedient mouse, as already mentioned, then bring up a power to fill the vacuum; a European desire. This power would bring peace to the world, not of self-interest, but of world interest in the name of unity and perhaps, in the "name of a god", a new religion? Maybe, maybe not, but it would have all the appearances of a most righteous endeavor.  Islam and the Muslim people had better quit looking to destroy the USA and take a long look at a neighbor that pretends to be what it is not, a neighbor that is connected by land, a neighbor with the potential to enslave them all. The United States has never used its military might to enslave people of other countries. Certainly the USA has used its power and influence to help others and self-interest is always there, as it naturally would be with any country or countries involved in world shaping. Yes, the USA, as a military and political power is, in its way, trying to shape the world into a freedom loving "democracy. This is seen as a threat to Middle East extremist, apparently an individual practicing Islam cannot be a free thinker or practice self-interest. One must be under the thumb of Allah, ever pressing down, making demands that in truth cannot be met, and this is the way of all religion and all of religions demands. What they fail to see is the great oppressor building itself in Europe. The day is coming when Islam will fail. They will have had a part in the restructuring of the United States and the eventual enslavement of their own people by a power so close to them as not to be seen. If Islam could bring the USA to its knees, their dream, they would wake up one day and find a, far more, fierce beast ready to devour them and force a conversion to a "religion" seen as beneficial to the world.

The USA is missing the ingredient that Europe will not forget to put in and that is "religion". Yes, the USA is considered by most to be a Christian nation, but that religion does not control the political, military animal of this country. Islam is destined to failure as it has no political power to speak of and its military is puny. They are doomed to being "religious terrorist", and as such face continued annihilation.  Once a power more fierce than the USA comes on the scene either Islamic blood will flow like rivers or they will submit, perhaps, to false promises.

Religion is responsible for the deaths of millions upon millions of people. People have been, and are being destroyed in the name of religion greater in number than any bomb, or bombs have ever destroyed. We should all fear religion. If the USA were ever to be taken over by a particular religion, say, Christianity, our freedom, even our freedom found in the Christ (not a contradiction, I assure you) would be in jeopardy. It would be virtually impossible for a human leader to be fair with other religions or beliefs, once in power. Certainly as the political system stands within the USA today it would be difficult for anyone to grab absolute power, not impossible, but under the right circumstances a slim chance such a thing could happen.  First the people of this great country would have to be placed in such a state as to be screaming for a strong hand and be willing to give up the individual freedoms for the good ( ? ) of the country, or states.

All of the great Empires of the past have had strong military presence backed by a religion of some sort. Why a religion and not just a military power? Ask some of the dictators that have come and gone. They either have made themselves to be worshiped or they have the cooperation of a religion to control the masses. People generally will not built great monuments, like the pyramids, for example, unless they think they are pleasing the god, or gods of the moment. For the gods the people will build, fight, and die. Certainly people will give up their lives for an individual but usually that individual becomes a deity of sorts, perhaps even immortalized in a myth, a god to be followed for the greater good. Once you have the idea of "god" then you have to have those that speak for them. You see, gods are a heady bunch and need to be explained. To some, like myself, this actually demonstrates the weakness of beings declared to be gods, they need to be explained. Certainly a god could explain him, or herself? Why use a stinking human that can barely keep body and soul together to explain what the gods are thinking and what they want? I mean, if there are gods then they must see us as stinking crawling things stuck on a single planet in a galaxy of more than a billion stars in a universe of billions of galaxies? Am I suggesting there are no gods? Not at all, only that our understanding is bent.  Of course some will see the parallel of the God of the Bible, the big difference is -- the God of the Bible is "alive".  You see, if there is a real God, a Creator of all that is then He can do as He pleases, we can only hope He has our best interest at heart.  When you get deep into the lessons of the Bible you can see that that is just what the Creator God has, our best interest.  He wants us to all have, gain, be given eternal life.  You can see His plan moving in stages through the history of man all the way to His making a statement that the Kingdom coming to this earth with His Son as King over all will not be taken by force but by His Spirit.  Even the Islamic god Allah does not make such a declaration.  No, Allah says his murdering bunch of misguided thugs will over-throw the whole world.  Even an insane person should be able to see the foolishness in such a plan by Muslim gangs.  Not only do they hate the world, they hate themselves and can find no forgiveness in their evil minds that war within their heads.  One day the Living God will give them peace.

A further note on Usama Bin Laden: It has been noticed by many people in different religions that many times the most devout of religion are those called converts. And this truth holds for Usama Bin Laden. Hey, you say, he has always been a Muslim of the Islamic religion, and that is true but not a willing follower of the Islamic religion. His father, Mohammad Bin Laden, a father of some 54 children, made sure his children remained in the Islamic traditions. Usama went through a period of rebellion, living the high life, then returned to Islam, much like a convert might and found in this religion of his father a stability even his father could not provide. Suddenly, the converted mind of Usama Bin Laden had a purpose to his hateful, pointless life. He began to see a vision of stability for the whole world but only under the religion of Islam. He saw the righteousness of mind that it provided him and the purpose for his existence, his mission to change the world for Islam, for Allah. Never mind the innocent die, never mind the god Allah cries for human blood, over and over again, never satisfied, Usama has found purpose in a self-righteous cause. The righteousness of this cause is self-centered selfishness, personal aggrandizement, and all in the name of a god, a god that is no god but a devil.

In his heart of hearts he, Usama, knows this to be true. In an effort to transfer his misplaced righteousness of evil to someone else it is easy to pick the USA, after all it is the USA that is encroaching upon holy ground. Here is where freedom goes out the window. In a truly Islamic state, which has nearly been accomplished by Saudi Arabia, there is no freedom of choice. There is a choice, of course, Islam, or death, and at the bottom line, even for moderate followers of the Quran. In a totally pure Islamic world I honestly believe Allah would still be calling for human sacrifice. The leaders would set up sacrificial post upon which they would crucify anyone that would dare go against, in the mildest of ways, an Imam or any declared prophet of Allah.

Those in the Islamic religion, like Usama have not sat quietly and tired to picture a world finally converted to Allah. The world, totally, 100% Islam, how wonderful, hardly. The Imam, and the prophets are all sinful men. Even in the righteousness they are wrong. They struggle to make law and to make sense out of the Quran with writings to enslave men and women, especially women. The hadith is such writings to explain what Mohammad really meant, and even among the Muslim populations there is varying differences in the interpretations of the Quran. You see, Mohammad, in his writings contradicted himself. One of the principles of the hadith writings is to exclude any contradiction by what Mohammad wrote, or said last. In the beginning of Mohammad’s writings (dictations, as some say he was illiterate) he preached love, then later after begin boot out of Mecca and traveling to Medina he changed to what has become known as the "Sword of Allah", the conquest of any and every obstacle by violence and murder. All ends justifying the means for Allah, the destroyer god. This is the god, the religion that has provided Usama Bin Laden with a purpose greater than himself. A murder is still a murder, no matter whose name you do it under. This brings up another consideration, just who is Allah? Is this god the same as Buddha, Hindu gods of millions, the god of the Bible, Jesus, a universal god? Maybe he is a god of the moon, as some have said, or a god of the Sun. One thing we know for sure he is a god of destruction and a god of blood, not some blood but tons of blood, never ending. This cannot be denied.

It is said that a martyr for Allah will go straight to heaven and will have up-wards to 70 virgins at his disposal. Has anyone ever wondered what reward the "female" martyr enjoys? She gets to be one of the 70, now how is that for fair play and equality? Even in the Islamic heaven the female is less than a second rate participant, they are sex objects. So, we come down to a question about the god you worship, the god you want to rule this world, the God of gods, so to speak. Usama has chosen his, and he is a bloody god indeed, might even be the same bloody god the Mayan, and the Incas worshiped in their hay day, just under a different name. Who is your god?

Note: This is one of the places the KJV and the NKJV actually printed the name of the God of Israel instead of using the term or title, LORD. 

Isaiah 42:8 IAM YaHWeH: that is my name!  I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols. (NIV)

Note: The forward, and, or, prefaces of most bibles indicate the use of the term "LORD" in capital letters is used by the translators in place of the correct name, YHWH, God of Israel.  Why?  They say they are merely following tradition.  Even the Jehovah's Witnesses acknowledge that the God of Israel's name is the more correct YHWH -- they too, have chosen "tradition" over the Word.
