Weird, maybe, but serious for sure.  Some things can really seem strange to us at first blush but you have to remember the message YaHshua, and later His followers, delivered was attributed to "doctrines of demons".  We, of course, know this to be as far from the truth as Satan telling Eve she and Adam would not die.  In the process of rounding out our knowledge and in "knowing the enemy" we need to see more than one side of an argument.  Somethings are just not matters of "salvation", but are interesting, even fascinating, but to turn every idea that comes to a human mind into a doctrine is limiting, not only to your personal growth but to your spirit as well.

Remember, "Every scripture is inspired of God is also profitable for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness."  II Timothy 3: 16, KJV.  The NIV has "All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be throughly equipped for every good work."

"Prove all things all things; hold fast that which is good ..." I Thessalonians 5:21.  The NIV has it, "Test everything.  Hold onto the good."  That is what you should do when going to any of the other web sites I point to.

http://www.drgenescott.com/home.htm   The late Dr. Scott had recreated himself several times but his massive ego remained in tact.  In the beginning of Dr. Scott's ministry, many many years ago, he was a wonder to listen to, a supreme bible teacher.  Somewhere between here and there he became weird.  At the present (before his death) he appears normal, more like his younger years.  I don't believe he smokes those giant cigars on TV anymore.  I'm not sure what you learn from him.  He is still presented on TV scribbling in multicolored felt tip pens on a series of plastic boards that have an odd way of creating shadows of his writings in the back ground.  This makes it difficult to follow along at time but does not seem to bother the audience.  But none of this matters much as these large plastic writing boards become completely covered with the multicolored scribblings that his congregation lovingly refer to as "holy graffiti".  His youthful wife has pickup up his mantel and teaches in the exact same manner as her late husband.  She being the female version of Dr Scott.

She, Mellisa Scott, has no formal religious training which makes watching her even more fascinating.  Her biblical knowledge and presentations are quite impressive.  She has managed to maintain control over Dr Scott's flock as a type of dictator finding the power of authority to rule over others within the pages of the Bible, as the "authority" to be respected and obeyed -- however -- I do not believe she pushes it as far as her late husband did, but then she does not have to, the followers are all too willing to fall at her feet.  Her "holy graffiti" is not as helter skelter as is the late Dr Scott.  She makes a game attempt at singing but an American Idol she is not.  One thing for sure, both she and Dr Scott have a strange attraction and are almost fun to watch.  The boring presentation of stange language spoke and written is some how transformed into a hypnotic display and she is every bit as good at it as the late Dr Scott.  She is a site herself, she might weigh in at 110 lbs, dressed in oversized clothes fit more for a man than a beautiful woman and this some would take exception, being too much dressed as a man.

If you want a lesson in the Greek language there may be better places to find it but not more entertaining, again, in a strange sort of way.

http://www.revelations.org.za/   To some this may not be considered as a "weird" site, to others this will appear to be more than weird.  There are some stimulating ideas presented here but you definitely need to be grounded in the Bible to make use of this site.  Remember, rightly dividing the truth.  They teach the "restoration of Israel", of the bringing the "ten lost" tribes back, of the reuniting of Ephraim with Judah.
